Music director, composer and singer, Sahir Ali Bagga started off his career as a drummer and late joined the band, Jupiters, where he encountered singer, Jawad Ahmad. Upon composing music for Ahmad’s album, Bagga soon embarked on his journey as a music composer. After working with an impressive list of musicians, Bagga found his his claim to fame as a music director for PTV show Virsa: Heritage Revived (2009-2010) where he went on to compose music for the likes of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Azra Jehan, Shafqat Amanat Ali and Sanam Marvi to name a few. Creating hits like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s ‘Mein Tenu Samjaya Ki’, Bagga has an ear for creating masterpieces that resonate widely with audiences.

Son of Amjad Hussain, music composer from the 1970s, Sahir Ali Bagga joins the ranks of Music Director in Season 10 of Coke Studio. He brings his keen ear and virtuosity with him to breathe life into his energetic melodies as he debuts on Coke Studio as a music director and featured artist.
