Another addition to the great tradition of female vocalists hailing from the Sub-continent, Fariha Pervez is the definition of immense talent and sheer perseverance. She established her presence in Pakistan’s entertainment industry from a young age through different acting and anchoring projects, but it was in Music that she found her true calling. Through the years, Fariha has ventured into many a genre; however her roots are firmly established in Eastern Classical music in which she was trained under Master Feroze Gill of the Gwaliar Gharana. With the massive acclaim that her song ‘Patang Baaz’ received from her debut album, Fariha found herself on the path to musical success and the beginnings of a prolific music career.

Fariha’s vision for Coke Studio is: “I want to see international performers performing together with Pakistani musicians on a larger scale so the Pakistani music industry can get the exposure and we can get experience working all over the world. With this we can learn a lot more and it will become a great platform for newer and younger musicians”.

Season 7 presents Fariha Pervez’s second appearance in Coke Studio with performances that speak volumes of this artist’s immense talent.
