Born in Sheikhupura, Jaffer Hussain is a clarinet virtuoso and a leading Pakistani woodwind musician. Hailing from a family of musicians, Jaffer Hussain perfected his art under the supervision of his father Ustaad Master Rehmat Ali and Uncle Ustaad Talib Hussain and was also mentored by Ustaad Babu Nazeer Hussain.

Narrating his Coke Studio experience, Jaffer Hussain said, “Working with Strings was a lot of fun. The management was very supportive and the best part about Strings was they didn’t impose anything on us and did everything after taking insights and feedback from the artists. The environment was very friendly and home like”.

Jaffer Hussain will be making his Coke Studio debut in Season 7 of the platform.
