Saleem Khan was born in India to a father who was a musician. Music was followed in the family so it was not a difficult for him to tread, especially under the tutelage of his father. Sharing his comments about fusion in music he was of the view, “I always enjoy doing fusion music and playing with an orchestra.” Saleem joins his brother Kaleem as a guest musician on the Coke Studio platform.

Saleem Khan worked as a violinist on more than 9 songs in this season of Coke Studio and regards it as a great experience. Speaking about the audience’s expectations of Coke Studio Season 7, he was of the view “They will be happy with our work. This Season is going to be different”.
