A student of the visual arts, Mehr Qadir has always been inclined towards Eastern music. Mehr’s journey with musical performance started in school, by participating in singing competitions. This penchant from music at an early age led her to join the Coke Studio family in season 11 as a backing vocalist. Mehr returns this year, lending her voice to the vocal harmonies that add color to this season’s soundscapes.

A student of Eastern Classical music, Mehr has studied under the tutelage of Ustad Naseeruddin Saami, Rauf Saami, Tina Sani and Shahid Hamid, with musical influences that include Tufail Niazi, Kaushikii Chakraborty and Mehdi Hassan Khan.
