A dentist by profession, and a passionate musician, Varqa Faraid is a largely self-taught keyboard player. This season, Faraid’s jazz-inspired style adds a western flavor to Coke Studio’s experimental fusion.

Faraid has kept his passion for the craft alive by joining indie bands such as Saakin and Red Blood Cat, and has also performed live with various mainstream artists. Driving the rhythm and the mood of this season, Faraid is set to make his debut appearance as a keyboardist on Coke Studio Season 12.
