    Ali Noor

With his dynamic vocal range and charged mind-set, Ali Noor has been one of the most influential musicians in the music industry. Having fallen deeply ill with an extreme bout of Hepatitis A, Ali Noor battled for his life with fans flocking to the hospital in case the artist required blood, or an organ transplant. Since then, he started viewing life differently – having produced an album in quarantine called Pagal – he decided it was time to focus on music with deeper meaning, spontaneity and fun.

He started his career with his brother, Ali Hamza for the band Noori back in 1996. In 2003, their debut album Suno Ke Main Hun Jawan accumulated a mass fan following before it was even released, setting the bar of success for a pop-rock album very high. To add to the list of accomplishments, Noori has also won an array of accolades; from the Award for the Best Rock Song for ‘Do Dil’ at MTV Music Awards in 2009 to the Best Music Album Award for ‘Begum Gul Bakaoli Sarfarosh’ at the Lux Style Awards in 2016, among many others. But that’s all changed today.

Ali Noor’s recent near-death experience stirred an awakening that has seeped through to his music. Reputably known to enjoy a sense of control, he has decided to manage things differently from now onwards – taking a step back. After having had massive popularity with Noori on songs like ‘Aik Alif’ and ‘Saari Raat’ with Rohail Hyatt, Ali Noor is all set to make his solo comeback Coke Studio 2020.

“I’m not here to get any accolades. The process, the journey, is important.” – Ali Noor
