Infatuated by singing and performing from an early age, Fizza Javed spent four years maintaining her national championship for squash and swimming from 2004 till 2009. Facing early elimination from a singing competition did not dim her dreams, and she took to singing professionally since the last couple of years.

Born and raised in Karachi, she developed an ear for listening to quality music due to the bond she shared with her father, an avid music listener who introduced her to legends such as Iqbal Bano, Madam Noor Jehan and Lata Mangeshkar.

Currently recording an album, and in training with her Ustad Karam Abbas, who also appears on Coke Studio this year, Fizza Javed will make her debut on the platform in Season 8 with a song originally written and composed by her.
