At age nineteen – Sara Raza has already recorded more than a hundred original soundtracks as a playback singer for drama serials, participated and won several national and international singing competitions, proved her mantle on film scores for Na Maloom Afraad, Dukhtar, Wrong Number – and to really top it off, she rules Facebook with over 2 million likes on her fan page.

Formally training in Lahore since 2006 with Ustad Abdul Rauf, her recent collaboration with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on “Aey Chand” speaks volumes of the respect she’s earned by the heavyweights of the industry.

Whether weaving her tuneful voice to a pop track or a folk tune, or swooning the listeners with her controlled raags in a ghazal or semi-classical rendition, Sara infuses each song with a sound that is all her own.

In a captivating voice, she makes her debut on Coke Studio, Season 8, in a duet featuring the pop icon Ali Haider where she once again charms with her soothing vocals in a remake of an old classic tune.
